Author: An Abused Tenant and Family

We are one of the families here who have had our children physically assualted by employess of WINN RESIDENTIAL.They have illegally entered our apt and stolen personal property and cash.They have made sexual advances to our minor child.There are known sexual predators allowed to reside here.We have subjected to severe racial taunts. We have made over 10 attempts to have the corporate office in Boston,Mass to give us relief from such treatment and they either refuse or never return calls or emails.We have even contacted the company president William Wollinger,the CEO Samuel Ross and the chairman Michael Putziger to no avail.The guiding principles they claim is totally false. To make matters worse we are not the only tenants who have suffered mistreatment and the company is aware of this and refuses to address these problems.

Instead of writing it here.. call the police.. every single time something happens, call the police.
File complaints with the courts and go to Legal Aide about tenants rights.
I had an issue at my Winn Res place, not even as severe, and I contacted the Boston main office is and it was ended in 2 days, and the problem has not repeated itself.
You don't stop calling, you don't give up. You have a RIGHT to a safe environment for you, your child(ren), your family.
I'm shocked about the sex offenders, because Federal law prohibits dangerous sex offenders to live in public housing or apartment buildings with children.
To allow it is against Federal Law, doesn't matter what state you live in. Federal trumps State law.
