Found this mechanic on Craigslist. Contacted this mechanic to work on wife's SUV. Transmission on wife's vehicle is out and I needed him to swap out that transmission with a used one that I purchased. Payed him $250 upfront as he stated he needed it before he could start work. He came out to look at vehicle on Sunday evening and said that he would come out on Monday morning. He never came. Called him on Monday evening and he said he was on way to my house, where vehicle is, but never showed. Called him on Tuesday and he said that he would come out to my place of business to pick up the transmission. He never showed up.

At this time, he has not called me, nor will he answer his phone when I call. I have sent him emails asking him to call and if he doesn't that he will suffer the consequences of his actions. All I am asking is that he either do 1) do the work that he promised to do, 2)refund me my money, or 3)I will contact the authorities and file any and all reports about this incident.
