Thomas Hughes Films - Thomas Hughes Video![]() Navigation: Main page Author: Kimberly B. Los Angeles, CA I am not surprised to see all or nothing reviews. I too was pleased with the thomas hughes - until I saw the video. Thomas Hughes Films - thomashughesvideo.com First off, I've never heard of a wedding video that DID NOT INCLUDE THE ENTRANCE OF THE MAID OF HONOR, THE MATRON OF HONOR, OR THE BRIDE HERSELF! Yep, you heard that correctly. Thomas Hughes was simply not paying attention during the film. Thomas Hughes managed to capture my parents entrance as well as my dog's entrance (she was my flower girl), both made from where I was entering from. Then for whatever reason, he then put the camera on sticks, and pointed it toward where the wedding party was congregated after entering, and watched them watch the IMPORTANT ENTRANCES, as the camera should have been doing. So instead of filming the maid and matron of honor's walk, we have footage of my dad trying to get my dog to sit, and my best friend trying to wrangle my parents and in-laws to stand in the right place. Great footage of her stage managing. (I should have given her the camera). At least he had the decency to pivot the camera toward my husband as he entered, but then he kept it on him and ignored my entrance entirely. After watching the video, I emailed thomas hughes films because I was hysterically crying, and too livid to speak. Very quickly thereafter, I got a call from the videographer himself, named Darren, WHO GOT ANGRY AT ME FOR NOT LIKING THE JOB HE DID. Talk about adding insult to injury! Thomas Huges said his "feelings were hurt" because he takes such pride in his work. Since not missing moments are the biggest concern in deciding on a videographer, and I'm not the only one this happened to, I recommend you take your hard earned money elsewhere...not to thomas hughes films
