My son was attending a daycare owned by a woman named TERI RANSOM that I thought was licensed. She was shut down recently for 'lack of supervision' which stemmed from child on child sexual abuse. This woman has been operating without a license for several years as she was shut down in 2005 because her 13 year old daughter was found to have abused a 4 year old. My concern is that the police and social services have been unable to establish a criminal case against this woman, thus she has continued to have many children under her watch. PLEASE do not take your child to this woman. I have information concerning more than 3 children who have been abused..one of which may be my 3 year old son. I am afraid there could be more who have not spoken up. There have been many allegations..some proven..some being investigated. For example: Transporting children without car seats, making children pick up dog waste..ect. The main concern is lack of supervision..it angers me that this is all she is charged with since it is simply this fact that allowed the abuse to continue. With only this charge..all that can be done is to tell her NOT to have childcare in her home. SHe has already demonstrated her complete lack of concern for this law. Please circulate her name..make it impossible for her to put other children in harms way.
