Summit Alliance LLC![]() Navigation: Main page Author: Anonymous My in-laws received a letter from Summit Alliance LLC offering to help modify their mortgage and get their home out of foreclosure. They had already tried a couple of times with other companies with no luck and this company was so eager and positive that they could help them they thought there was a light at the end of the tunnel. They spoke with a consultant named Augie and he told them he was going to email some forms that had to be returned within 24 hours so that he could begin to stop the foreclosure and help them modify. He also said that the modification would cost $1500 but $900 would be returned if they were unsuccessful in modifying. We filled and faxed the info and authorized $1000 to be withdrawn from the account as that is all they had. That was on 8/4/10. Since then we have only spoken to the company one time, when we call now it is an automated service that just loops over and over again to the beginning. We had to change bank accounts for fear that they may attempt to withdraw the remainder of the funds. I cannot believe that this company is preying on people who only want so badly to keep their homes they are willing to try anything. I am just praying that we will be able to get their money back and use it to pay a legitimate company to help them.
