I received notice that Shell Oil will be charging a minimum interest fee of $2. Really? Your already outrageous interest rate is not ENOUGH? When I called to cancel my card, the dialogue was laughable - insult to injury. The customer service guy told me about how economic times are tough. Come on! Do they think we don't know about the record profits oil companies are making? Yes, times ARE tough, but not for oil companies. He then told me that all the other oil companies are doing this minimum. I told him I hadn't been a loyal customer for 10 years of "all the other companies". I'd been a loyal customer of Shell Oil for 10 years, using their gas almost exclusively. No more, Shell! I'll buy "all the other companies" gas now.
