Our firm installed a supplied phone system for RDI Model and Talent at 2742 St. Joseph Blvd, Orleans in May, 2010 and then subsequently relocated the same equipment to their new office at 200 Isabella Street, floor 4, Ottawa in July 2010. While removing telephone equipment for relocate, we were also asked to remove Closed Circuit Television System and to hold onto it until we were requested to install it at a later date. The orginal invoice has never been paid and the second is approaching 30 day terms.

This past week, Trevor Goble called looking for 'his' camera system. This is when things got interesting. When advised that the system would be returned when payment was received for previous work, his demeanour became abusive and threatening. With his 'extensive legal background' he quoted his rights and my legal obligations to return equipment. Later that day, I was lucky enough to receive a call from the company who had installed the equipment and who were looking to reclaim it as per Trevor's request (due to non-payment by RDI / Alex (Brian) Markle of which he was 'unaware'). Several very bizaare emails and equally disturbing messages later from Mr. Goble (all saved for posterity) the equipment was back in the rightful owner's hands for sale to a paying customer. Mr. Goble has tried many different approaches to mask (and confuse) his original attempt to reclaim the unpaid for system, including legal threats, buddy-buddy, business man-business man, outrageous comments and attempts to throw Alex (Brian) Markle under bus. All in all, most disturbing.

Alex (Brian) Markle is a very interesting individual who makes unsubstantiated claims and who makes promises which apparently are never delivered (still waiting for that bottle of Scotch from your last trip overseas). Not sure how one leaves country with criminal record? Google: Alex Brian Markle fraud.

As the Ottawa communications and security industry is a tight knit business community striving to conduct business with serious businesses in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, we have begun notification to associates and to competitors alike recommending that they request payment immediatley upon completion of work for Legal Works, RDI Model and Talent, RDI Modeling, XModel, Alex (Brian) Markle and Trevor Goble.

The good news is that we have instituted measures to guarantee that this type of situation never happens again.

We will also continue using any/all LEGAL measures to recoupe payments due. I'm sure that Mr. Goble would support this stand.
