I organized a singles weekend in Melbourne from 30 July 2010 to 1 August 2010. People came from all over Australia to participate in this weekend.
I was introduced to Sharona Goodman through a participant of the weekend. I asked Sharona Goodman who was well known in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia for organizing singles parties for her two groups AHAVA4U and The Friendship Group, to organize a dance/party on Saturday night. She did so and arranged it at the White Bar, The George Building in Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, Victoria on Saturday night 31st August 2010 for all the attendees.
I also requested that she give me $5.00 from each person who entered the party and at first she refused to so.
Even though Sharona Goodman refused to give me any part of the money from the party she had the nerve to ask me to mention the party at ever promotion I did for the singles weekend. I did so out of good will.
Advertising for the singles weekend was done in a half a page article in a local newspaper and on a Melbourne TV station.
Numerous brochures were emailed and sent out to thousands of individuals all over Australia. The party was advertised in the brochure as part of the singles weekend.
The final agreement reached between Sharona Goodman and myself was that she would give me the $10 from all the interstate guests who attended the party as a result of my efforts. Other local Melbourne people who would not have normally known about the party came because of my advertising. She kept the money from these people.
On Saturday night 31st August 2010, I organized a bus company to come to the hotel to take all the interstate guests from our hotel to the party in St Kilda, Victoria to support the event.
Upon entering the party Sharona Goodman and her friends who stood at the door to collect the entrance fee asked guests to sign in with their contact details. These names and addresses of the 200 - 300 people provided Sharona Goodman with a database.
To date, I have not received any money despite continual requests made by me nor have I received a copy of the names and addresses from the people who signed in at the party.
