I signed a contract with Michelle Powell approximately 9 months before my wedding. I paid her in full (as the contract required) approximately 3 weeks before the wedding. On the day of my wedding Michelle did not show up nor did she call.

I have attempted numerous times to contact Michelle but have received no response from her. I have called and emailed Michelle on numerous occasions asking for the full return of my money but she has ignored all requests.

I have been contacted by "Marketing Director" and a "friend" of Michelle's giving me excuses about why she didn't show up or telling me how great of a person she is but I have never heard from "Michelle" again.

After she didn't show up at my wedding I did some digging. I contacted Sedona Wedding Professionals where I found her because I noticed she was no longer a member of their organization. They informed me that she was removed due to unethical conduct; she didn't give another client pictures they had paid for. Although she was removed from their organization 5 months before, on her website she still claimed to be a member.

She also has on her website magazines she claims to have photographs in. I contacted all the magazines and several of them responded stating they have never heard of her.

I am out over a thousand dollars, I have no professional photographs from my wedding and yet I still have not heard from her.
