LT Moving

After nearly 2 months, the so-called "professionals" at LT Moving have failed to deliver all of our household items, have yet to take responsibility for the items which were erroneously delivered to us and have proceeded to hurl personal insults when we try to get some consideration. On April 28, they packed up our belongings from Chicago to be delivered in Los Angeles on May 4. They arrived on May 5 and failed to deliver a vintage table top as well as at least one box containing (among many items) a power drill, hardware, kitchen items and a wireless networking hub. Furthermore, they delivered boxes which were meant for a customer in North Carolina. Our attempts to have them fix their errors have devolved into an unbelievable fiasco. First, we were given two different dates for delivery of our missing items as well as a date for the items to be shipped. All dates passed with no response. After that, they stopped answering any text, phone or email messages. One representative (Robert) who had organized our entire move even told me that he no longer worked for the company - even though his name is prominently displayed on current advertising. He also said the boxes delivered to us were his and we could throw them away. Um... the boxes were marked for "Brian," and we were later told they were for a customer in North Carolina. Finally, the company owner, David Tomei, called and let loose with a profanity-filled diatribe about his assumption on the quality/value of our missing items. He hung up without offering a way to correct his oversights. I posted a negative review on Yelp which only elicited another inappropriate attack which was then later removed and replaced with a generic "we're so sorry..." statement and, again, absolutely no explanation about when our items will be delivered to us.
