Kerry & Erin Barnauskas Falsely sold a mare Navigation: Main page Author: Sucker Mare was sold as sweet, friendly, and beginner safe. She is extremely hostile in a stall, ears flat, attempts to bite (and does) and threatens to kick (stayed away from that end). She is dangerous in the stall. No mention of this when bought, but found out later that the same horse had been sold before and returned for that very reason. They bought her back for less than half the original selling price and turned around and sold her again to us. They are making $ on this mare. The mare was always taken out of the stall rapidly upon our arrival to buy and not returned until after we left.We tried working with her after we bought her, but to no avail. She will be sold again, but with honesty about the problem to the next buyer.
