INSURANCE COMMISSIONER Unfair Bias Service Navigation: Main page Author: charles The Insurance Commissioner of Atlanta georgia was very unfair, towards me when I filed a complaint agaisnt progressive insurance for not paying for my claim after their investigation they concluded that progressive was in no violation of any laws. When I filed my complaint progressive lied about me to the insurance commissioners office about my accident I was In 09/12/03 when my car was totaled by their insured driver & would not pay for my car. The insurance commissioner office would not help make progressive do anything to help me resolve my complaint & did nothing to help me. They concluded that progressive made every reasonable attempt to settle my claim this was a lie progressive never called me never wrote me any. The insurance commissioner office should be investagated for cover-ups I went threw two years of hell trying to get progressive to settle they refused to except their small offers I do not have the money to pay for the balance of my car & progressive wanted to pay very little for my car we could never agree on a settlement this went on for two years after the accident progressive refused to pay anything & put me threw alot of emotional drama & the insurance commissioners office was not help they sided with progressive, & believed what they had to say nobody would help me get anything settled. At the end my & mother filed a suit in small claims court but the judge ruled in favor of the driver who hit me because he was friends of them & ruled agaisnt us but at the end progressive finally reached a settlement & paid for my car but still I should not have been put threw this when the accident was not my fault!. Progressive lied about me to the insurance commissioners office for them not to help me & they lied to the courts for them not to help me & the insurance commissioners office should be investegated for cover-up saying that progressive has done no wrong in settleing my claim.
