Emusic Dishonest Practice![]() Navigation: Main page Author: Michael I used to belong to emusic, but since the selection is really bad I quit using them. I have not been on the site since 2007 I believe and then last week I received an email to get 75 free songs. I was hoping their catalog might be better so I tried a sample song from the link they sent. Of course the selection was still the same, very limited, so I got off the site. On Tuesday May 26 I received and email thanking me for my rejoining. I immediately called their 'customer service' line after cancelling online. The person I spoke with was not professional in her position as far as giving her name, getting me to the supervisor, then hung up on me twice. I would think in this day and age that a company would be concerned about their reputation but this is not the case here. I called my bank and was assured they will not allow the charge to go through. I was able to catch the transaction before it was charged. I would hope, in the future, this company would be more honest in their business practices. In the meantime, (((Redacted))) is a wonderful thing!
