Dr Beth Erickson wrote a book called, "Marriage Isn't For Sissies." Well, apparently marriage isn't for Dr. Beth Erickson either! Why? Because she's failed in her own marriages, at least 3 times, and is now in her fourth marriage.

You have to ask yourself, would you want to read a book about how to lose weight written by someone who's never been able to effectively lose and keep the weight off? Would you want to read a book about how to make money that was written by someone who is still making minimum wage, or can't even keep a job (a better analogy considering Dr. Beth Erickson's inability to keep a husband.)

This is just another "Guru Wanna Be" who has written a book and is now trying to sell it based on what's in it, not on her own personal performance or success. Be warned. Dr Beth Erickson is not the person to teach you how to make your marriage work. I've read Dr. Beth Erickson's book, and I suggest you instead look for a marriage specialist who actually lives what they preach, someone who is still married and who didn't take the easy way out on three previous occasions.

I hope this saves someone the $20 it cost to buy this Dr. Beth Erickson book written by an author who lacks credibility for what she's teaching. Perhaps "Divorce Isn't For Sissies" would have been a more appropriate book for her to write.
