doctorled.com Defective items Navigation: Main page Author: Anonymous I bought 6 MR16 lights through a retailer from this company to be used in track lighting. Dr LED promotes it's lights as lasting 50,000 hours. All six of them failed within 6 months. Their failure was gradual. I spent over $130 on these lights, so I wrote Dr LED intending to return them in warranty. They refused, telling me I had purchased them longer than a year before. I showed them the invoice, which was clearly 8 months before, and then they told me I needed to pay $5 per light, plus shipping. I complained the lights were defective, and they told me I should have bought Cree lights, some newer technology. This company knowingly sold me defective lights and was abusive to me when I complained about it. My advice would be to avoid this company. Their lights were crap, and their warranty was worse, but their attitude to me, a customer, was even worse than that.
