CompuDirect Fraudulent sales Navigation: Main page Author: Ed Another ripoff by CompuDirect. They sold me a Samsung monitor as new, it turns out it's re-furbished. I checked them out: they claim they're a multi-national company-Not true. Also, in reality, CompuDirect closed down in Nov. 2008. They bill under a different company name but advertise as CompuDirect. The owner went to federal prison for 1-1/2 years for (guess what?) defrauding customer with computer sales. Apparently he's at it again. Also, it turns out they did the same thing in 2006 with Dell Computer but Dell sued them and won. They also had to pay Dell's legal expenses of $49,000 Stay far away from this company!!!!
