I purchased Chase car payment assurance so I would be covered in the event of losing my job. When I called to take advantage of the benefit, I was advised that my insurance payment never covered involuntary unemployment, only disability...which was not as much as a concern to me. I think they "switched" the policy and lied to me. They never sent documentation...only took a payment every month....I should have asked for documentation beforehand....If you take out any assurances from Chase...be sure to get and SAVE all documentation of the assurance....
