I was a member of Cardinal fitness since 07, I stopped going and canceled use of my bank account in June of 2008, I decided to rejoin in May of 09 and was informed that I had a $256.00 bill and so I asked why do I have such a high bill and was told that "even though you stopped payment you are still charged every month"; so I asked the guy " Since im being charged for the use of the gym I should still be able to use it". To make a long story shoter, I was told that basicly they can charge me and still denie me the use of the facilaties and I should call the manager on Monday and see if he can help me with the balance then I asked the guy to stop my account and he said ok. I called Monday and the manager wasn't present to take my call. Well Today 11/23/09 I called to see what I would have to pay to renew my account with Cardinal fittness and was told I have a $645.00 balance and ask the manager how could I possible have a balance that high , and he replied that I never gave them a cancellation of my account and I told him about the trip i made in there in May and was told he had a record of my trip in there and my questioning of the account balance but i never put my account in writing!He never said valued me enough as a costumer to tr to work with me even after i told him his employee was asked by me to cancel my account.

This charging people for a service they can't use and should be a crime. Cardinal fitness runs scams on it's costomer! Beware!!!
