We are transplants from Chicago and have watched EVERY BEARS GAME there for the last 6 years. Same table, same seats! Call us superstitious ? UNTIL LAST WEEK! Our table has been reserved for every game as is several others along with bar seats. We stopped in and spoke with the bartender the week before just to see that we are set for another season. "All good " we were told. " See you Sunday" " Go Bears" SO......... After years of putting up with poor service and medium quality food ( and spending buku $$$) but good ambiance to watch OUR BEARS we arrived Sunday in our Bears gear as always only to find out table was now " Reserved for ownership" ! We took the next table that was reserved for others we know and all squeezed in. When the owner appeared ( Never in a Bears jersey) he propped up on his new perch alone at HIS TABLE. The bartender told the OWNER this table is reserved for one of your loyal customers. "Too bad ' was the quote from ownership. No communication from the owner-just an attitude, Not an apology, not an " Let me set you up at a new table" , not a "Let me buy you a bucket of beer " NOTHING. Capones motto : " This is the place where the customer is always wrong". This guy just doesn't get it ! We gutted out the game and now have found a new REAL CHICAGO BAR in Florida. Hot Leggs Bears Bar in North Lauderdale. Friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended for Bears/Cubs/Hawks/Bulls fans from everywhere. Start the exodus from Capones Flicker Lite to Hot Leggs! As for Capones"STAY AWAY"
