Dear Sirs,

An open letter to BMW AG management and BMW South Africa Management.

To: Mr. G Kilfoil, Corporate Affairs Manager, BMW South Africa Dear Mr. Kilfoil, Today, 3 Feb. 2010, I attempted to purchase a replacement battery for the central locking key to my car, from Auric Auto, Claremont, Cape Town. (Ref Messrs Scoble & Herselman, 021 670 1100)

The last time I had it replaced the cost for a battery plus labour was R15. Today, about a year later, I was quoted R268 for the same battery plus I would have to put it on a work ticket so that they could open the key and replace the battery - and charge me for that as well.

This is sheer corporate theft on the part of BMW South Africa . Its a further example of how Eurozone companies, for all their political correctness, are still the opportunist robbers and crooks in the 3rd world that they have always been.

Many will find this completely disgusting corporate behaviour abhorrent and your company must be brought to book for corporate theft because you simply cannot carry on like this.
