AutoFair Manchester NOT a reputable dealer Navigation: Main page Author: Tom b Last month I bought a 2005 Ford Ranger Pickup from AutoFair and last week the handle to open the back tailgate latch fell off in my hand. Yesterday the check engine light goes off anf continues to be lit up. I called the dealership and they said I should have bought the extended warranty because now they have to charge me to see what's wrong with it. I received a letter from a manager from AutoFair about 2 weeks ago thanking me for my purchase and to 'be free to let me know how your buying experience was because at AutoFair they feel word of mouth is the best advertising'. So I call the manager telling him that after 5 weeks I don't think this car should be falling apart and he tells me basically, tough sh1t. You should have bought the extended warranty on a 2005 car. The salesman was pushy and as he's selling me the car he's making these promises which when it came time to sign the deal....dissapear. I will now become a walking billboard of bad publicity for these people and send everyone I know looking for a car in a different direction.
