This company contacted me yesterday and offered me a fantastic holiday deal, but I only had to pay the tax. I thought something was up so gave them my card details that had no funds available - of course it didn't go through but they reserved my place.

After getting off the phone I realised that TAX is charged as a percentage of the service. If there is no fee, then there is no tax right? So why are they asking for $998 in tax charged to be paid in advance? Cause it's a scam!

Searched the net and found a bunch of reports from this company issuing bogus tickets, and ripping people off. I'm supprised that something hasn't been done about these people.

Now I have to get a new card to cancel the details I gave them, just to be on the safe side.
